The worst place ever. If you did not come from a religious background-- you are in for it. Not only do they shove religion down your throat but they treat the ladies as if they are in a cult. Want to watch the news before bed? Too bad. You can only watch that 30 minutes a day, directly after dinner. Want to watch a movie? Only Fridays and Saturdays after dinner and it MUST be G rated. Want to sing a secular song? Well you are out of luck. You might get written up and kicked out for that. You want to talk to a therapist or professional about your anxieties and problems? If you are not enrolled in the 1 year program you will be denied of that request. Oh, by the way- you are not allowed to talk to anybody who is considered a guest (there for less than 30 days) when you first arrive. You are only allowed to talk to the people who have been accepted into the program. Don't worry though- you will always be accepted. As long as you say you're not a lesbian and you follow every single one of their insane and disgustingly strict rules every second of the day. Don't want to sing in a choir? Too bad. That is absolutely mandatory. That is how they make their money. Whispering something to somebody? Watch your back because every single girl there will report everything you say to a higher authority. This program strips you of your freedom. Everyday I woke up in tears because I had to face another day of their ridiculous program. Their school is filled with only religious teachings and you are forced to read disgusting things such as "why homosexuality is wrong" novels. Then you go to your job. If you work maintenance (which i had the awful pleasure of being in) you must be up at 6am to shovel snow. No excuses. If there is no maintenance work to do you will stand around for 3-5 hours pretending to rake the property. This place offers no freedom and lacks the understanding that there is a real world out there that people need to get used to in a sober way. If you teach them the ways of your cult, they will be confused and unable to cope in a world that is so opposite of their program. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT GO HERE. Get your butt in some intensive therapy and or a rehab program that has a good success rate. Do your research. Stay informed and stay the hell away from this place.
