At The Retreat, we provide a gender specific alternative to traditional alcohol rehab and alcohol treatment that is centered on the spiritual principles of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

We serve people who are not in need of a clinical treatment experience. 

Our recovery program employs a community of over 300 volunteers who are living their recovery at the highest level.  These volunteers are carrying a message based on their own experience.  They are very passionate and make a life of recovery both attractive and within reach.  Our community oriented approach effectively integrates people into the vibrant recovering community of the Twin Cities helping them to establish a solid foundation for long term recovery. 

Providing recovery services that are accessible and affordable are priorities of The Retreat. A thirty-day stay is around $5,000.00 (includes one family program participant, books and extensive program materials).
 
The Retreat is committed to assisting any person with the desire to begin a life of recovery regardless of financial status. Scholarships are available for qualified applicants.
