Menominee County Human Services Department provides an array of outpatient services to Menominee County residents diagnosed with mental illness, developmental disability, and/or alcohol and other substance abuse issues to the extent that the condition interferes with or impairs physical health, psychological functioning, or socioeconomic adaptation, occupational or educational performance and personal or family relationships. The Agency is sometimes referred to as the “51.42 Board,” which is a reference to Wisconsin’s Chapter 51, the Mental Health Act of the State Statutes.
All of the Agency’s behavioral health services are state certified under the provisions of the administrative codes of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
