Description

Located in Frederick, Maryland, Wakefield House is a 12-Step recovery home for women guided by spiritual principles and managed by house members and the owners.

There is a strong emphasis on healing through attention to daily activities and safe and supportive family interactions. Most house members participate in community based counseling programs and there is a 12-step meeting once a week at the house. All women in the house must be actively working a 12-Step program.
