Description

The Gilmore House is a private sober living residence for men located in the Mar Vista area of West Los Angeles. New residents have the option to have their own bedroom or, for lower cost, to share a bedroom with one other person.

The staff and everyone associated with the Gilmore House Sober Living are all sober members of Alcoholics Anonymous. They have lived through the hell of alcoholism and addiction and have found a way of life that is productive and useful. Let us guide you as you set out on this new journey in life.

Each resident signs an authorization with his/her treatment provider that permits our Project Coordinator to communicate with them regarding their progress, needs, etc. Additionally, each resident is expected to attend regular twelve step meetings and to have a sponsor in their 12-step program.

The individual plan includes:

    Twelve step meetings
    Twelve step sponsor
    Attendance at weekly House Meetings
    Employment

Gilmore House is a great sober living environment for anyone looking for a transitional living home. The staff and residents are all very friendly and accommodating. It is the perfect balance between structure and freedom necessary to re acclimate back into society. I highly recommend Gilmore House to anyone interested in moving into a sober living environment!
