For nearly 40 years, Sumter Behavioral Health Services (Sumter BHS) has specialized in the prevention, intervention and treatment of drug related problems. Advisory groups, interagency councils and surveys help Sumter BHS to identify the needs of the Sumter community.

The Board of Directors of Sumter BHS (appointed by Sumter County Council) helps Sumter BHS to achieve this goal and provide quality service.
