It costs Rays of Sonshine $85+ per day for each residential client and $40 per day for day students. As we are a local mission we turn no one away. The costs to the client is assessed individually at interview.

Through a personalized program of self-discovery and life skill application, clients are expected to work towards these behavioral objectives.

Clients will show evidence of practicing life management techniques.

Any woman over the age of eighteen can apply for residency or come as a day student or drop-in. We have ten residential beds, and eight transitional beds, we can also take up to four extra day students.
We are licensed by the Department of Health.
We take referrals from hospitals, courts, probation & parole, other treatment facilities, churches ¦ even walk-ins:
All potential clients are interviewed to see if this program is realistic for them.

Women who are pregnant are accepted and they can have their new born baby with them.

Provision is made in transitional living for children to stay over night on weekends with their mothers.
