The Therapeutic Community (TC) is the core treatment model at Odyssey House. It is an intensive, holistic model with the primary goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle. The Odyssey TC model has been modified to meet the unique needs of each population to include a variety of evidence based best practices in mental health therapy, family therapy, medical care, education, work training, and parenting coaching to name a few.

The framework for the TC model considers substance use a symptom of much broader problems and, uses a holistic treatment approach that has an impact on every aspect of a client's life.
