Masters level professional staff provides an initial assessment with all individuals requesting services. Treatment needs and available services are reviewed and a treatment plan is developed to address those identified needs. Adult Outpatient counseling services may be provided through Individual, Family, Process and Educational Group Therapy. Referrals are made to other community treatment providers such as physicians, vocational rehab services, and other agencies as needed. Individuals who need more intensive treatment services are referred to the appropriate level of day program and/or inpatient treatment. Walker County offers three levels of day programs, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Day Treatment (IDT), and Psychiatric Rehabilitative Day Program (RDP).
