The Addiction Recovery Center provides abstinence-based Intensive Outpatient therapy based on the Minnesota Model of Addiction. This includes a focus on the Alcoholics Anonymous’ 12-Steps and integrates family into the recovery of the patient.
Intensive Outpatient Program Operate:

    Patients meet Monday-Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
    Family groups meet Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
    All sessions are mandatory; absences are excused only with a doctor’s note.
    Patients are typically in our program from four to six weeks, depending on the severity of the problem and other issues.
    Patients must attend at least two outside AA meetings per week.
    Patients are randomly selected for urine drug screens at least three times weekly.
    Patients also submit to daily or random breathalyzers, depending on the patient’s history.
    Patients receive an individualized treatment plan within four sessions following admission to the program.
    In addition to addictions, a variety of issues that may have begun before or been worsened by addictions are also reviewed. These include mood disorders, stress management, anxiety and anger problems as well as marriage, family and other relationship issues.
    After patients have completed the Intensive Outpatient Program, they are encouraged to attend on-site, year-long Aftercare at the Addiction Recovery Center.
        Aftercare meets weekly for 1 ½ hours, and is free of charge to those who have completed the Intensive Outpatient Program.
